this can be a mixed bessing.
if you do it at a low feeding time you will draw in some unexpected visiters to your hole.
yes it dose bring in the fish when they are feeding, I cut in half all my dead minnows in my bucket and put them down the hole.
I catch my share of fish, I also catch more than my fair share of mudpuppies

[/center] [center] [/center] [center]puppies are protected here in michigan, they have a season from july to september[/center] [center] [/center] [center]they do make good pike bait and aqurium pets.[/center] [center] [/center] [center]I go as far as to cut them in half and use the back half of a recently expired minnow to tip my jig when I chum like this.[/center] [center] [/center] [center]I do well with crappie, perch, bass and an ocational gill. not to mention the puppies. I sure miss the dog days of ice season.[/center] [center]come on ice!!![/center]
