Fished Haymeadow Thursday and then again Saturday the 14. The goal was to teach the wife and young 17 daughter how to catch Bass. My daughter ran my troling motor by foot, for the first time, did better than I could do. Then she caught more than all of us. All of the Bass were 12 or bigger. Went back Saturday morning and then the wife outscored each of us. We brought in 22 healthy Bass we did throw a couple small ones back today. We even saw a catfish in about 3 feet of water, didn't even know they were there. My daughter ran her worm over his head three times but never even looked at it.

Thursday we got on the water about 0900, it was very cloudy but the sun would come out so we went back to dock to get sunscreen. Winds were light we left at about 3pm. We caught 11 Bass between the 3 of us. We then drove to Ely for Thursday and Friday night. We decided to hit the lake again on the way home. We were on the Water at 0800 there were no clouds and no wind at all, it was hot, but we covered ourselves in sunscreen and the bite was on we caught another 10 we got off the lake at 1100. It was probably the best day I have ever had on Haymeadow. We were using Yamamoto 3 inch and 4 inch "Yamasinko" worms color didn't seem to matter. We also were using weedless hooks, there were lots of weeds but only a couple times did we break a line because of weeds.
Cacoon.
