You know your spoiled when the hardest decision you have for the day is do I go bass fishing or crappie fishing. emoAngel Today I did both. emoBig
Started the morning off bass fishing. Caught a couple nice ones on spinner baits and shakeys. Nothing huge but got to stretch a line and play some with a few. The rain was not all that bad and where I was mostly light. By around 10 it stopped and it was really a great pleasant day. The launch at HBSP has both the entrance and the exit open now. emoThumbsup <br /><br />About noon I decided that since the bass had just about stopped biting I would switch over to some crappie. I still wanted to put a couple more messes in the freezer so I kept several. All but one were black crappie. Some are still spawning and the ones I caught were just about all males. Put about 30 in the boat. Kept 13 crappie and one stupid spot that thought it was a crappie. I also boated about a dozen bream, two catfish and about 10 small largemouth on my crappie rig. emoThumbsup I had some fun. This time of year I love to just go catching. Today was one of those days. Put about 70 assorted fish in the boat. emoDance <br /><br />Looking forward to this weekends CFF tournament. Today there were very few folks on the water.
