Mercury 115 Horse Power Tilt Question

I need to add fluid to the power tilt.
What type fluid is used.
Power steering Fluid?

I am not sure what the make-up of the stuff is but the marine stores carry a quicksilver product (recommended by Mercury) Its called Tilt fluid.

Mine has a zerk on it and just takes grease.

[]I can help you on your question. I have a 115 Mercury on my Lund boat. I use Mercury Power Trim & Steering Fluid!
The boat had a bottle of QuickSilver Power Trim & Steering Fluid with it when I bought the boat. Here is a photo. I bought the Mercury fluid from Petersen Marine in Draper.
