I am late in posting this, and the ice is probably gone now, but it was 4 inches when I went to McTucker on Saturday.
I saw a lot on my finder and I could get them to come up to my glow jig. I even coaxed them to bite a couple of times but missed them, but I still had fun and my wife walked the dog all around and kept the car warm. I left my shack, auger, and spud in Boise because the weather was so warm in IF before Christmas and nothing had ice.
The sunset was pretty great, cold and I didn't catch any, but worth it. McTucker is a nice easy place to fish on our drive back to Boise.
