Echo Launching?

Has anyone been up north recently? Can you still launch at the lower ramp? I havent been that way in a while but last I heard you could drop in.

I went up mid October and the launch was fine. Water is up about 2 feet higher since then.

I was out at Echo yesterday Friday the 5th, the boat launch is awesome. Weather broke a little yesterday, no wind, water was like glass. We looked for shad but could not find any, the anchovies and other things we were trying had no effect. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed being out on the water. I did see about a half a dozen boats out and about. I did see one of them at the fish cleaning station, so it looks like someone pulled some in.
