Last chance for my first spike!

Hi everyone! My dad and I have been scouring to fill our spike tags in the cache unit and have had no success. We have been hanging around Temple Fork, and have covered a lot of ground, but haven't seen much. We havent seen any spikes at all. Last time we went out we saw a herd of about 5 from 800 yards out, just in time to see them run into the trees without being able to identify them. My dad also has a cow tag, and at this point we would both settle for just being able to fill that. Can anyone help point me in the right direction to where we could at least find a cow? Check out the log cabin ridge, on over into tufts creek upper and lower. Always holds elk up there. Good luck
