He left us today, liver failure. not sure, no autopsy results yet, happened quick. put him down. Dammmmmn, it hurts you just don't know the memories and the companionship unless you were in my shoes. That sucks, sorry to hear it Leaky. I've felt your loss. It gets a little easier with time, but never feels "right." I've always tried to find a new best buddy as soon as I could after losing one. A few months maybe. Not a replacement, but new companionship and new memories to fill the void. Hang in there.

Aw that just rips at my heart. Say it aint so. I felt privlidged to have met the most famous dog in Utah. Sparky truly had a passion for fishing (and sticks) that even I envied! Utah's angling community has lost a great fisherman.

I will be sure to "clink a few shots" in the name of Sparky tonight. Gonna miss you buddy![fishin]

My dad showed up with a little shorthair puppy when I was 12. I buried her just after I turned 26. I still haven't got another. Can't convince myself to go through that much pain again.
