Echo big bass
#1
I mean't to post this awhile ago. My nephew caught this beauty back in July just north of echo on a senko just before sunrise. It is his biggest large mouth yet, bigger than anything I've ever caught too.

Awesome! Bigger than anything we have ever caught out there. Would love to rope into something like that!

Welcome to the forum, Adub. Thanks for joining. That's a really nice bass. It's a shame it wasn't released to fight another day. The stripers eat way better! [Smile] That's it, your nephew is hooked. Fisherman for life!

why release a fish that someone is going to eat?

Tired of all you catch and release guys spoiling peoples stories by saying "It's a shame it wasn't released to fight another day"

Most of the fish I catch, I throw back. But, if I have people that want to eat fresh fish, they are going to get fresh fish.

I don't care how big the fish is, they are going to get fresh fish.

end of rant.

eating is a very temporary celebration for big fish--striper an exception to that

I didn't spoil the story. The story was told, and I commented. Some like to keep all fish, more power to em. I prefer to release lm & sm bass at Mead and I encourage others to do so also. That's all.
