Its been a long while since I have made the drive up to Echo Bay. Since my boat is in the shop AGAIN, my family and I decided to go to the swim beach up there.
I was under the impression there were no services what so ever up there. Come to find out, they have a store that is open 8-4 and the LAND gas station is open also from 8-4.
The only reason I haven't been taking my boat up there was because I had no clue there was any service available.
The original launch ramp is closed, the low water ramp is now open and the dock was moved over to it. Not sure what they are going to do with the marina but with in 2-3 weeks it will be on dirt if the water doesn't start going up. The past 2 days we have not been on the negative of water going out with water going in.
Just a FYI for everyone, anyone who knows how much nicer it is up on the Overton Arm should be happy we have some service available!
