Snake river below american falls

I am looking for a little insight on drift boating the river. If a guy were to put in at the dam about how long would it take to float to snake river vista? What other spots can you pull out down there? Thanks !

Put in at Massacre Rocks and you can take out at an unimproved ramp at Cold Water.

Ive never floated that river before, is there anything i need to watch for and about how long of a float would i need to plan on?

Its not a really long float if you go straight through. We usually stop and fish spots for long periods of time and go 6-8 hours.

You can take out at pipe line befor the vista if you want

Do you know about how long it takes to float to pipeline?

From the dam to pipe line in a toon or a boat would take about 10 min to float, about an hour or so to wade.
