Sunnyside Fishing Trip
#1
Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share some pics from my fishing trip up at Sunnyside a couple of weeks ago. I fished only at Cold Creek and I am itching to give the other reservoirs a try. Caught a bunch of LM, rainbows, and crappie. Sorry no pics of the LM and I was sure surprised to catch a bunch of crappie out of Cold Creek.

Syncityangler,

I caught them on a silver castmaster. My friend was there this weekend and her husband caught a couple of crappies with a silver lure too.

LVfishingdude,

I was fishing off the dam and I wasn't bait fishing so that might be the reason I didn't catch any monsters. But I hope to remedy that soon. I am heading up there again in two weeks. Hope I catch a monster.

there are some huge trout and bass in cold springs. ORANGE castmasters or super dupers have never failed me up there

Orange kastmaster?? Are you talking about a straight orange kastmaster or a half chrome, half orange?? What color of super duper do you use?

Sunnyside and Wayne E Kirch Wildlife Management Area are the same thing.

+/- 3 hours to the north in Nevada.

If you are looking at google maps, they label Cold Creek Springs, Hay Meadow. Hay Meadow is the next reservoir north of Cold Creek Springs.

Ah thanks for the clarification. So then is the one labeled adams mcgill hay meadow?

No, Hay Meadow is the one directly above cold creek springs that is not labeled. All of the other reservoirs are labeled correctly.

There is a camping area.

Too late in the year to be camping/fishing out there for me... Temperature wise, etc. Going to be really close to the triple digits by this weekend I am betting.
