heres a good freshwater bait I found for calico

On vacation I fished the kelp beds and had a nice calico take a weightless 10" powerworm red shad while fishing it on the surface called a skimming technique,its when you drag the worm over the surface kinda like a snake..Nice Calico too saw the whole fish,but I was using a someones gear,if I had my bass rod with braided line and a worm hook I know I would of caught that fish,maybe 3 or 4lb fish ..nice one
Would of been my first calico,anyway enjoy the site
