We started fishing Renegade this morning before the sun cameup. We launched with the full moon and listened to the elk bugling on thehillside as we started to reel in the fish. We caught plenty of Cutts but mostwere little fellers in the 8-14 inch range. I was catching them on a Jakes lureand Hiram was catching them on a crank bait. Later in the morning we caught afew on worms below a bobber. The lake was calm and the colors were awesome. When we pulled into the ramp there were hundreds of little Cutts at the dock. Ithink they just dropped a bunch in the lake. What an AWESOME morning of fishing.

I'm excited about the elk bugling! Thanks for the report though, I'll be up there at the end of the month.

Yea, go to Photobucket and set up a FREE account. Much easier to see the pics then to click on each jpeg. I gave up about 5 photos.

Were any of them over slot (15"-22"slot)? The one that is 934KB looks a little worse for wear or is that human blood?[shocked]

We were there too. In fact I believe we were about 100 yards from you at one time, we were in a Bassmaster boat. We usually fish on the west of the point you where on and sometimes the east side. We netted 17 but nothing big. Kept two fat rainbows for dinner tonight. We were using feather tailed jigs and tube jigs tipped with a worm. We also use a worm under a bobber (but not today) didn't see much surface activity today. There were a lot of dead fish by the boat ramp after they dumped.
