Went out of Callville today on the water about 545 am. Weather report said that wind would be from the north 4-8 mph till about 10 am. Well made it pass the tires and tired to go out the bay and hit some of the coves. It was blowing like crazy out there. Wind had to been at least 15 mph and from the south. Big swells and white caps. Well went back and tried to fish along the tires and shoreline with no luck. Saw several bass guys out there and no one had bent rods. Anyways at least I got out on the water for some kayaking.

A bad day fishing is always better than a good day at work, as they say. []

Do you have a fishfinder on your yak? They sure do help with finding stripers in deep water.

Callville can get pretty nasty in the wind, I've been in it. Thanks for posting.

Sure do. The only place that metered fish was inside the marina the place that has signs saying no fishing [] Well you got to get out when you can.
