Government Wash 6/30
#1
The wife dog and I ventured out to Government Wash today for the first time. Got to the water at about 545. Water was absolutely beautiful, But no one was catching anything. Even those in boats or tubes (from what I could see).

Had lines with anchovies out but not even a nibble. Threw some cranks and top water but nada.

There were a ton of boils and a lot of fish jumping or hitting the surface every few minutes from about 7-10am. They were out there, but a little too far from shore (maybe 120 yds) and apparently very picky.

Was home by noon empty handed.

On a side note, thawing anchovies really piss me off. Reid to keep them under a bag of ice but they still thawed. Anyone use dry ice to keep them frozen? Smiths cells dry ice.

Thanks!
