[cool]The wife wanted to go fishing so we hit the water south of 33 hole in the tubes at dawn. Casting everything in the first couple coves for nada. Kicked over to another cove and hooked up a nice lmb on the bettlespin. Beth was getting some bites but none wanted to commit. I hookup a couple more small lmb and then she nets a nice lmb on a small swimbait. She gets a couple more bites before we start kicking back.I cast out a small swimbait to troll back and get hammered. Nice fight and thought I had a larger fish but was a 3lb striper that was hooked in the side. Kept him for tacos and we both got another lmb each before we landed. Great day on the water with no wind. We were on the water for about 7.5 hours. Nice to see Beth hookup again.

Looks like a nice day on the water! Are those beetlespins you won in the Fish-Off workin' for you?

One of these days I gotta get you to start using Photobucket, I hate having to click on those links to look at your pics.

[cool]Yeah they are. I teamed them up with various jigheads of different weight and shape. I can always rely on them to catch a fish.
