[cool]Went fishing yesterday south of 33 hole. Hit the water in the tube at gray light. Kicked around to a big bay and got first fish, a 1lb lmb on th beetlespin. Worked the shore for a bigger 2lber also on beetlespin. Went over to opposite shore and hooked up another 1lber. Decided to kick over towards another bay and saw a turtle right at my feet! He would swim around my fins, touch them with his front legs and even rest his head on one. Got to the other bay and caught a 1.5lb striper on the rattletrap. Kicked to the very back cove and was surrounded by about 40 carp! They were slashing about in the sunken bushes and just cruising. Caught another small lmb on the beetlespin and made my way back out to the channel. Tossed the beetlespin to another group of stickups and got hammered by a 2lb striper. Good fight on 6lb test. Took a break there and toyed with a small smb and a small lmb from shore. Finally made the kick back to my launch by 11:30am after six hours on th water. Nice warm day with little breeze and smooth water. Gald to get some fish for tacos(all green bass released).

[cool]Same thing happened a couple years ago when a turtle would get on my flippers and then on my buddies fins. That one followed us for about 400yards. I kept kicking away from this guy as he tried to swim underneath me. Finally he lost interest. Nice to see the wildlife though.

Good job Eric!

The turtles back! You should have let him have his way with your fins, poor guy was desperate for some love.

Here's our last 3some with the turtle.
