Went Fishing Sunday with NW Fisherman

Curtis showed up at 5:30 AM Sunday at the house in all black outfit. OOPS!
95 to 103 out on the lake on Sunday.

That wardrobe faux pas fixed we launched at Callville and had a good day. Midday the pleasure boaters and water fleas got noisy but we were back on the walls in the shade by then and it seems the constant wakes helped the bite.

Curtis is exceptionally good guy to go with. Not much Mead experience but he knows how to fish.

Yeah, I dont know what I was thinking wearing a black shirt. I guess I wasn't thinking, it must've been too early in the morning. I should have taken your advice on wearing a hat too. The top of my nogin is pretty well scorched.

Sorry I had to jump ship halfway through the day. Did you catch anything else after you dropped me off? If I get a chance I'll throw up that picture of the big LMB you caught. The picture doesn't hardly do it justice though.

It was a good time even if I wasn't able to put one in the boat. We will have to do it again sometime. Thanks again for letting me tag along.

Curtis we went back to the Narrows area where we were when you got the text and fished the AZ side back in an inside cove then on the Nevada side after the boat traffic slacked off. I think I caught 2 more smallmouth and Julie caught a SMB which took the skunk off her. She was definitely getting bit but having a hard time getting them to the boat.

Run in at around 8:00 PM was almost flat water and very nice after getting pounded by boat wakes all afternoon.
