Specifically the "colorado river" portion of lake mojave (from the dam down to the open body of Mojave), where have you had the most luck?
I hiked down to the white rock canyon hot springs yesterday and did a lot of walking a long the shores of the river - With deep cuts into the shore, fairly shallow water, sunken logs and brush...I've gotta say, it looks bassy. So I wanna take a camping trip up there soon for a few days and want to know how much success people have along the shores there? I haven't fished it much except for willow.
So please, share some success stories and tips!
