Anyone have any recommendations for a ski-doo mechanic.

I am in Salt Lake, but don't mind a little travel in order to deal with a good/honest mechanic.

Any advice would be appreciated.

It may be a little bit far, but Steve Willis, in Laketown, UT has a snowmobile/ATV repair shop. If you are interested I can get you his contact info. He is the absolute best mechanic (in my opinion) and definitely the most honest person you will ever meet. His shop is right next to Dee's Super Service.

That would be great.

I just bought a couple of sleds, and one of them needs some carb work and i dont know the first thing about them. (yet) So it sure would be nice to take them to a shop the someone has had good experiences with.

Update

After receiving a pm from joshomaru, (thanks again Josh) I met with a guy by the name of Derek who owns 86'd Industries located in West Valley. I ended up having him do some work on my sleds, and I am glad I did!

I have never owned sleds before so I really know nothing about them. After dealing with Derek, I now feel a whole lot more comfortable about taking them out.

As well as fixing the few things, he went over my sleds and looked for any potential issues. ( everything checked out ok, SWEET!) He also took me gave me a class on snowmobile 101.

All was done for a reasonable price, and most important, I feel like I found a sled mechanic I can trust! And he is close to home.

I would recommend him to anyone.

I took 2 Jet Skis to Steve He had them for 2 months and never touched them A lot of promises but no work.. He still wants to charge me 300 bucks, He never even dunked them in the water.. He is a nice guy but I would not let him touch anything of mine again..
