DAV fishing trip

What's the latest on the DAV fishing day as far as the date? I don't see much posted. I had heard there were some disgruntled people during one of the meetings so maybe it isn't going to happen.[:/]

It's happening Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Soldier Creek marina / pavilion. Things are scattering together. Look for another meeting later this month when we'll hopefully get together with the VA folks in attendance. Right now, it looks like there'll be 60 or more vets fishing with us this year.

Just thought i'd say thanks for those that participated and/or sponsored this event. I'm over on the other side of the US, but we did something similar over here for our vets. I'm really surprised that, as active as this board is, this didn't get more hits than it did. Kind of , actually.

It will get more hits when they start asking for help, this post was just one member asking about a date. You can see how many hits the last one got if you type in DAV event in the search function, under the main Utah board setting. The guys that are organizing this event are doing it behind the scene with PMs or Email but I'm sure they will be asking for help soon. The first one was in 2009.
