[cool] For those whom might still be interested in going to Castaic Lake until they settle thier dispute, I have provided this link for the Rules and Regs. It includes a map for the Lagoon, Boating and tubing rules as well as information on the fees. [url "http://castaiclake.com/regulations/lagoon.htm"]http://castaiclake.com/regulations/lagoon.htm[/url]. It also provides a link for the Upper Castaic Lake for the bigger game fish. Lots of stripers up there of good size. Sorry, no float tubes in the upper lake. See ya there.

[cool]Good info. Wish I could get over there and exercise a few of those fishies. There's gotta be a 20 pounder with my name on it. But then, who ever heard of a bass named Stupid.

[cool] Hey there TD,
The previous state record LMB came out of there in 91' at 21lbs10oz. It was taken from the upper lake in a tourney and released into the lagoon. It hasn't been recaught since. Although park officials as well as other tubers have spotted it still in the water. Estimatated at 30# right now. There is still a chance and the state of CA still has a reward of 8 million dollars for any fish at least 2oz over the current state record. $$$$$$$$$$

[cool]That's a pretty good price per pound. Almost as good as what they pay in Japan for fresh bluefin tuna.
