Strawberry/Soldier Creek ice conditions?

Any current ice condition reports for Strawberry/Soldier Creek?

Ice is solid (even around the shoreline) at The Strawberry Marina. Not sure of thickness (didn't measure it) but I would estimate well over 1 foot thick and more was forming today.

How was the fishing?

I didn't get there until 1 PM and there were only three other guys fishing around The Marina. I was told the fishing was good around 9:30 AM when the first guy got there, but he said it didn't last very long. The other group hadn't caught anything and ended up catching 2 fish by about 3:30 when they left for home. I caught 4 and lost one at the hole (I was fortunate to hook every fish that I got to bite) in the first hour and 15 minutes. I might as well have gone home then because I only had one other bite (didn't hook the fish) after that until I left for home at 4:30 PM. Considering how late I got there, I was pleased to land four fish.

i was there on wendsday by the dam where we have fished b4 last month
there is thin frozen layer on top that you break through to 10 inches of slush we know we was fishing the same spot because i broke through and found a augar hole that had melted open from 10 inches to about 25 almost went swimming was thankful from my wadders and some one to pull me out be careful and the ice over there under 10 inches of slush was only 5 inches if that we parked the snowmobiles on the bank and walk out to check the ice good thing fishing was not great in 4 hour we caught 25 or so 10 to 13 inch rainbows and a few slot cuts

No not my first trip, but I hadn't been fishing in probably a couple months.
