Malware on BFT?
#1
Anyone else having access to BFT being blocked by FireFox? I had to turn my "Block reported attack sites" preference off to post this. See the following for details:

It has been reported, here is a link to another post on the same subject.

From what Flygoddess said at that link above it is a problem on only certain pages caused from some of the advertiser on BFT but not the site itself.

Thanks......didn't think of checking the "off topic" board first. Regardless, seems like it is being dealt with!

Thanks again,

Is it being dealt with?

If any of the adverts are truly tied to malware - I personally would like to see them deep-sixed. Only came up today, so what's changed. And 1 single report???

Most annoying. Used to getting "blocked" at work, but not home!!! Bother to have to turn OFF security features just to access what I consider a trusted site.
Ok, so maybe there's some users.... but I won't go there!!!

This evening, theangler posted the following:

"This morning at 5am bigfishtackle.com was hacked and hackers attempted to install malware. The problems have been completely resolved we have identified how the hackers gained access, and we just wanted to ensure users that the site is now running again and we are working with google and firefox to restore our good standing. Users may have trouble accessing the site but all risks of malware have been removed."
