Pudding stone lake

Has anybody fished puddingstone as of recently? I have never fished it was wondering if it wouldbe worth checking out.

Hi there OneWhoFishes,

I fished this Spring at Puddingstone. I don't wish to be negitive but at that time the water was both dirty and trashy and cold. The winds can really blow there due to geography. I fished from a float tube and places I had been told were pretty good (like the boat dock area that used to offer free entry to the lake) turned out to offer little.

I think others will also mention that the waters tend to heat up pretty quickly and is generally shallow. In the Summer, jet boats and waterskiers just love the lake and you can hear the screaming from the freeway!!

Good point? I believe Raging Waters is just over the hill!! ha ha
