U-tards pulling over-size trailers....
#1
Well we did our 7th trip to the Gorge this weekend for the last of the year kokanee fishing and traveling to Green river and back we never - and I mean never - fail to see people with Utah plates pulling trailers that are too wide for the mirrors on the tow vehicle. Hence I started calling them U-tards because they only care about what's in front on them on the road and they have complete dis-regard for everyone else....

They can not see what's behind them.

Talk about driving blind - the trip before this one we followed a Utah guy pulling a travel trailer with a small SUV and he never knew how many people were stacked up behind him.

Could all you Dad's, Uncles, Grand-dad's and anyone else enlighten these folks that they are a BIG hazard to everyone driving and that's it isn't legal.

Thanks for letting me vents - and thanks to the guy with the Huge pop-up tent that couldn't see anything behind him from not killing me with a bad lane change.

Come on people - please pull your heads out of the sand and other dark places...

If there are to many bad drivers in Wyoming for you, don't ever travel past there, it only gets worse and there are more of them.
I just finished driving from New York to Utah. The farther east you go from Wyoming, the worse it gets, past Nebraska it gets really bad, with Ohio being the worst.

I drive up to Manila frequently. The big trailers can be a hazzard but nothing compared to the idiots who get so impatient that they pass them in very dangerous locations. Everyone is in such a dang hurry to get somewhere that it gets people killed. Two trips ago some [#0000bf]deleted[/#0000bf] in what I think was a 4 runner litterally did a four wheel slide into my lane around a corner. He was going way too fast. If he would have hit me he would have been dead for sure, I probably would be, my two year old would be lucky to be alive and my wife probably would have came out okay since she was obviously in the passenger seat. Guess who's plates he had? It wasn't UT!

Last year as I was driving out of town some[#0000bf] deleted[/#0000bf] was passing cars where he shouldn't and did a head on right outside of town with a motorhome. He was in a compact car. Witnesses said he was passing unsafely for miles. Life Flight was on the ground waiting for them to stabalize him so they could fly with him. Stupid !

Slow down, calm down and drive safe!

almost same exact thing happened to me this weekend. i drove to CO took 50 from grand junction.. anywho someone from UT was pulling a 5th wheel in both lanes going up monarch pass. he failed to either look, or care (or both) at the 22 cars stuck behinde him while he was going 20mph. when he reached the summit he refused to pull over but at least he was going 31mph down the pass. when we got just outside of salida he gave every car that passed him the finger.
