Hey there guys,
I went out yesterday (Monday) on a 3/4 day boat from the LA area. The boat, operated by Danny Strunk, already had bait gotten the night before and so we saved some time and got on the fishing grounds early.
Between Horseshoe and Huntington Flats we stoped a couple of times and had pretty good luck on the Barries. Around noon we went a further south and proceded to pick up even more fish. With a good number of fish on board we decided to see if anything was happening at the 'Shoe' but on the way we hit more fish and finished off the day with full limits for 30 anglers on the gar. A few sand bass were also caught.
It was amazing to see city blocks of crashing barracuda passing the boat wave after wave.
We got back at the dock at around 4:30.
