Barn Island Opener

I met Tomc and we took a friend of his out for a day on the water. We where able to get two schoolies to the rail, but no keepers. No squid to be found and no stripers in the deep water today. We dropped some fluke rigs as the season opened, but again no takers. I'll hit the Ct River tomorrow and maybe their still up north.

Well you cant expect to get a fish every time you go out, but it would be nice to get one when you realy want one...[:p]

glad to hear some one is getting out on the water,

I have been a little bussy playing green acres again this spring... I still have another 100 hills of pumpkins to put out and a dozen rows of sweet corn and pop corn to put out....

Dave, came up short again at the same place. But I'll be in VT to look for the other species of bass in a week. [cool][cool] Reports have been good for St.Katherine. If it still is hot, I'll just park there.[] My garden has shrunk to an 4x8 size, not much time this year with side jobs and fishing.
