Nice Crappie
#1
Caught this crappie yesterday on a white mini strike king spinner bait. Didn't have something to measure it with, but I got a nice picture. I would say it's about 10 inches or so.

Unless you have hands of a supergiant I don't think that is 10 inches.lol its a nice crappie I have a couple in my aquarium and 1 is around that size i would say that is around 5 to 7 inches[fishin]

I guess crappie dont get as big where you live. That thing is quite tiny. Here in tx a crappie has to be 10" before you can even keep it.

Here is a picture of one I caught a couple months ago

Yeah, I've never seen a crappie that big up here. You guys are lucky. They don't seem to get that big; wherever I've gone at least.

I think it has just as much to do with the individual body of water and how you fish. I've caught plenty of 12" plus crappies here in Idaho. I've even seen a few caught over two pounds.

lol, all crappie are nice, some are just nicer than others...[cool]

I have caught my share of 15's and even some 17's...

any thing from 9 inches and up is good, there's not much to chew on below 9 inches..

I have caught a few nice 1/2 inchers... too, [:p] We get a kick out of em and put them back in to the water as soon as we can...
