Recently I ran into my Lawyer acquaintance about a month ago and he told me a story that I thought I would share with you. He did a case a few years ago where his client was arrested for skipping out on his parole. The case went to trial and my Lawyer friend (Craig) won the case, cause the prob officer had actually lost his phone Blah blah blah. Basically he won the case getting the kid off of all charges. Craig knew this family did not have a lot of money. So he sent the bill not expecting to get paid right away. The Bill was for $1200 dollars. About a week later he came to his office to find a large burlap bag sitting on his desk with a note attached saying "thank you for doing a great job with my son. Hopefully this will be sufficient enough for a bit while I try to save up the money I owe you. Please forgive me if it takes some time" Craig curious to what was in the bag opened it and found about 150 Morels. Craig not being an outdoor person didnt know what to make of it cause he didnt know what type of mushroom it was. After Craig did some research online about what this Morel was and if it was edible he discovered the world of mushrooming. On his way home he picked up a NY strip steak to grill, Suateed the Mushrooms just like the Internet site had said and sat down to have what he discribed as the best Steak and Mushrooms he had ever eaten. The next day Craig was driving to work and was thinking about the nice gesture the women had done for him. He also was thinking about the Mushroom Burger he was to make later that evening. As he sat in his chair at his office he didnt know how to thank the lady that had given him these mushrooms. But Craig did say that he believed she would be happy when she did recieve a reciept that was stamped PAID IN FULL. The next two years right around this time Craig has recieved a Burlap bag full of morels. Craig tells me it is his most profitable case he has ever tried. Hope you enjoyed this story cause I did.
