Buck bull tags in the mail

Nine of us drew this year again. Did have a friend from Minnasota draw a Wasatch limited entry elk tag. Looks like I'll be spending some time with him come Sept.

Had to take a day off and clean up the boat. It was getting to look like a pig sty.
This is only the second day I've missed being on the lake in the last 13 days.
Can't fish every day you know []

Which tag, archery, any weapon or muzzle loader? That is a huge area with alot of bulls, I drew the premium tag for that unit a couple years ago and what a blast.

It's an achery tag. I was going to see if you could give some insite to the area. I know you have bow hunted it alot.

I'd be glad to Roger give me a call. I'll be down there again this year during the archery hunt. I'm not sure if this picture of Dad's elk he took on his hunt out here when he drew in 2001 will post or not on site I may have to send it from my home computor but I'll try. dad was 75 then and he still hunts back in Wis. We actually were hunting during the week of 9-11. He has taken larger bulls in MT. rifle hunting and several 5x5's in Colorado with his bow. I think he said he has taken 30 some bulls in his lifetime. He is going to try and make it out here to join us this year on our archery hunt here, that would be nice.

Thats a damn nice bull. Never saw a pic of it before. I haven't hunted the wasatch area for about 5 years now so I'm a little rusty on the area.
Tim Butler from Minn. drew with 8 points and he's pumped up.
He hunts Mont. and Colo. every year. Any info you could share will be appreciated. I'll be in touch.

Dad actually drew that tag the first year he applied ( no points) that was back when you could hunt all the hunts if you drew the tag. His odds were something like 75 to 1 or something like that.
