Fished from 7:30 to 9:45 today. Started in WT as I know of some prespawn holding areas and was glad that I did. Fished a 3/8oz spinnerbait and had three fish at my first spot including a personal best 7lb 9ozer! Had another that went 3lbs and the other was a 1.5lb spot. Moved to a slough that usually has prespawn bass in it this time of the year but usually there has to be some cloud cover for the fish to be on the flats and I didn't get any there. There were some bait balls being harrassed but I think it was yellow bass as I saw a few come to the surface. Went to a couple of points in Harrison bay without a bite. It was good to be out in the morning as I usually don't get out there early enough to get the best bites. Here's a couple of pics of the PB and the other good fish. The water temps are great, 58-60 degrees. The water in the creek has cleared and there was little or no wind out there today. Lots of boats out there today, that's for sure.
