shiftworker, guntersville mud creek, bass, 3/9/09, none

fished a evening tx out of mud creek today... first time i fished mud creek since mid jan... and the results told the same story...

i decided to just drag a jig around all day. (i'm not real good with it, but theres only one way to get better.)

within the first our i had two 3lbers in the boat and had another bite... i figured if i could keep that pace up i would have a chance... wrong......
around 545 i set the hook on a good fish... it came up and jumped.... and i had it in the top lip... figured i was good, then as soon as i figured that.. it pulled off....it was around a 5lber...had two more bites without hookups... put the boat on the trailer 15 minutes early with only 2 keepers...

it took 16 something to win... and big fish was 6.10 or so...

all in all i had enough bites to maybe win or atleast make a good showing... but when you only got 2 and half hours to fish, you got to make every bite count... and i didnt.. oh well, thats how it goes...

mabye i should have followed bprice around today..... that would have been fun just to watch. emoAngler
