Had my personal best day on the G today while fishing the Grants tournament. My partner and I started out up river in 5 ft or less throwing traps. Within the first 4 cast I had a 5 and a 3.5 in the live well. Moved to the mouth of a cove in 4ft of water and started catching short fished. As the depth decreased the size increased. We ended the day with 24 fish 8 of which would measure. Finished in 6th place with 22.07lbs. My partner never caught a fish that would keep but got lots of net practice
