we use to go out on the bay..and have a board over a crack in the ice with open water..go 6 miles out and fish all day.. then come in and the crack would be in a different spot ..some times miles away from where we went out ..I dont do that crap no mo..lol i think if your dumb enough to go out on the ice ..when its that WARM then you should pay ..its just dumb judgment

you guys can stop wonderin, I wasnt one of them. [:p]

I was on my lake wondering why any one would go out on the big lake shelf ice with 40+ mile an hour winds... [Image: whistle.gif]

one of my buds put his popup next to my fishing hole, it wasnt but a minute or two later when it and he went sailing across the lake. [Image: whistle.gif] thought he was going to flip a cople times... he did loose his minnows... no not his cookies... LOL

what they may not have told you was those same guys went back out the next when the shelf ice came back to shore and collected their gear rides and what nots..

the following day a couple anglers went out followed by pea soup thick fog, needless to say they were lost, visibility was only about 50 yards. and not a compus one between them.
