I only had 2 hours to fish and I know DK would catch dozens in 2 hours so I thought I just might catch a couple but not so today. Mostly I wanted to be sure #1 that the old boat still ran and it did and I wanted to try some new places with a (for me ) a new type bait. I fished blowdowns in water from 1 to 10 ft with Slider Grubs in pumpkin seed color and black. I did catch 2 lm bass in the process each about 12 inches but no crappie at all. I fished from 2:30 until 4:30 and water temp was 42 to 46 depending upon the area and I stayed in WT Creek the entire time. Still it was a GREAT DAY TO BE ON THE WATER, especially considering its FEB. emoThumbsup <br />I saw someone with motor trouble that had to be towed back to the dock so the day could have been worse.
