Ending the year with a bang.
#1
I joined a new bass club this year and and ended up doing much better than I thought. I got a trophy for rookie of the year, big fish of the year, and angler of the year. Which is pretty cool but I'm afraid next year is going to be awful lol!
It just goes to show that hard work, determination and a little bit of luck goes a long way. (yes, I'm patting myself on the back[blush]) Texas rigged senkos and splitshot Roboworms were my go to baits. Now if someone would turn on the heat I could get back to bass fishing.

Thats great fsh4fun05, It's hard enough to place in a tourney let alone win a few awards for it. Congrads. Now you tell us about your go to bait. [Wink]

What was your set-up like for split-shotting the Roboworms? I just picked up 2 packages of the Roboworm FX little minnow or goby-looking worms for drop shotting next year. They set up nice on a drop shot rig.

Stud Muffin John! Awesome trophies, can't say it surprises me one bit though. Whenever we've fished in your boat you've put us on the fish. Plus you're the chub-master![Wink]

The Roboworms I would put on a size 1 worm hook with a 1/16th oz. spitshot about two feet above the hook. I would drag it real slow from shallow to deep on points. I used all sorts of Roboworm baits but my favorite is the Aarons magic 4" straight tail.

It is always nice to get a pat on the back, even if you have to do the pattin'. hehe
