#1
Fall Pike fishing is picking up.... caught and released a 38" pike tonight. Water temp's are in the high 60's and you can tell the difference!

Nice catch! Pike can put up some nice battles. Espically when they are that big.

Where are you fishing?

Hey Mike;

Kalamazoo County, Van Buren, and Barry county lakes. With the cost of gas as it is I am staying close to home this year. I do miss the fishing in the U.P. - especially Drummond Island.

That's a good sized one !
Did you notice if the vegetation in the water was dyeing off ?
Most of our lakes are starting to clear up a bit and fishing just seems to be getting better .

fishing is definitely picking up, and lots of vegetation coming up. We are clearing lines continuously. We are releasing most of the ones we catch unless they are gassed too bad, and they are starting to feed-we will see what the warm weather does this week to them!
