I went to roosterfishes (bill's ) place downstate this weekend to do some musky fishing , man , those fish are monsters !!!!
We didn't take any pics but bill is having a catfish dinner tonight . we were fishing for some gills for bait and i landed into a 24" channel cat , right after that the walleye sarted jumping . [signature]

man my buds cam wasnt in the boat ahahahahaa........damn rookies...i do have some pic of a few we got a few days ago when we found the place ill have to get them on my computer here tonight I hope... 2 weeks ago I got 37 bass my self ahahahaha smallies and LM 1 of the best days of fishing Iv had in years ..and i mean it ..it was great all keepers a few 4 lbs smallies ..what a fight ........I got a few pic LH you stick in the mud lol when ya coming over to fish ..give me a day and time ...ill set it all up for us.....oh ya my son is takin hunters safety class this year ...cant wait for him to hunt with me ....

Bill is suposed to come up this weekend to deliver some bear bait , don't know where we are going to end up fishing at .
Best part is the Mrs. says I can fish all weekend if I want [fishin] . I'm all done remodiling the 3 bedrooms and putting in the 2 patios this week , jacuzzi is being delivered next saturday ,it's a 8' x 8' . We picked it up at Houghton lake . How's the boy doing in hunters saftey ? I don't figure he really needs it , you have him pretty well schooled in hunting already . You have the deer cam all set up yet ? [signature]

deer cam? lol ya in the back yard...jacuzzi? Ill bring the beers...his class starts this friday at m65 bait and then saturday alllll day he should do Ok hes been shoootin from the age 4 lol. i got him a 410 last year he says thats a girls gun lol......but ya know they need the class..no shooting in the class tho ..just tests i guess

I'm on for fishing this weekend. Saturday evening I'll be at 6th street dam in Grand Rapids hunting walleye. Sunday evening I'll be at Tippy Dam scouting out some early season Kings. If any of you make it to these places I'll be the goofy looking guy standing in the middle of the river wearing the red white n blue baseball hat. Be sure to come over and say hi. I did some deer scouting last weekend. Couple of trails moved a little bit but for the most part the blinds held up good and I got the salt blocks out. I was going to put up the deer cam but..... ....... hmmmm....... hey..........any of you guys know where I put the deer cam last year???? Looks like I might have to buy a new one. Recommendations? Didn't make it to Tippy. Forgot the wifiey's side of the family had a family reunion Sunday so the trip got canceled. [frown]
Good thing is I got double extra bonus "hubby points" for that one and the next open date for Tippy (Sat. Sept 6th) is a LOCK. Hopefully the run will be starting up by then. [signature]

still thinkin on commin up for a king run my self... (still a big maybe, but I got ants in my pants and ya know how that goes [:p]) the weather this week was perfect. hopin for some of that in october... Its bird season tomarow, got a good dozen to put in the freezer.
lost a guinie to a coon a couple nights ago... darn bird did not want to go back in the house....[crazy] EATTEN ALIVE HE WAS..... Tomarow it is suspost to rain, be a good day for a shuckin and a pluckin. you got my number give me a hollar if weather and health permits for later this month, not on special doe season days. me and the neighbor is talkin on commin up, we will talk more tomarow while pluckin....
