Marin coast salmon

For several years I have gone salmon fishing along the Marin coast, great fun and the fishing has always been good to excellent. I didnt go last year but starting checking the reports and was startled to see that the run was terrible, hardly any of the sportfishing boats were catching or even fishing for salmon. What happened to the the salmon run in that area, I think these salmon are sacramento river bound. What is the outlook for this next year or years to come. Any thoughts?

We used to have good runs farther south. There hasn't been much showing down in may area, therefore nothing much was returning up to the Delta and into the American River.[]

Thank God it was only the Humbolts and not the Giants.

I went on an adventure with my son's, Skippers boat during the Humbolt run. We went some deep waters past San Nicolas Is and pulled up a few Giants. They were in the 18 to 22' range instead of the 3 to 5 foot range of the Humbolts.[shocked]
