Braved the crouds and wind Sunday afternoon and went below the dam. Man was it loaded with those big sturgen rods everywhere. Saw 2 get hooked up but never seen them go down and release them. They must release by remote.
I sat by a family that really knows how to catch crappie. Plus I think they just hd the right spot. I caught 2 in a bout 2hrs while they brought in probably 20 in the same amount of time. I was only 6 feet from them. It's tough not catch[mad]
I started to check out how they were rigged and switched to their way and it worked. Then I saw a young man do well with a boober and since I was still slow I switched and did realll good then. Came home with about 20 all in the 6" range. Quite tasty[cool]
