For all you locals here in the Treasure Valley, Lake Lowell has permenantly closed Gott's Point. They say that there was $1000 worth of damage to the restroom area and have chosen to close the location forever.
I have always liked this spot to launch my float tube and fish around the large concrete structures. I hope all of you are discusted as I am about this. Gott's Point was one of the last (and best) locations for northside fishing a secluded area without large numbers of families and dogs crashing around, it was a fisherman's destination.
