Planning on fishing Daniels this weekend. I have never fished this lake and was hoping to get some suggestions as far as depth and types of lures/jigs to use. Also if anyone has any ice conditions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Remember that Daniels is artificial only and barbless.
You can fish anywhere and at any depth. Fish there move around and will school past you.
Plastic jigs and wet flies work.
Ice was 6" or more a week ago. It was slick then.
It will be very cold this weekend so dress for it.

I don't think Daniels is a good choice. But that is up to you. Daniels has lots of fish in the 15" range it is no longer a trophy lake. It has junior trophies now. I would take the advice of others on here and fish Weston or Deep Creek. Those places you can use bait too.

I have been checking the weather and is definately going to be chilly this weekend. This is kindof a scouting trip for a little get together we are having up there the following weekend with a bunch of people. Thanks for the advice.
