I went on the net and it talked about stanley being open for ice fishing. it;s my understanding that there are some "BIG" fish in there and that it is quit deep.

I have a freind who has a cabin up there and wants to go up for a couple of days. He doesn't ice fish, yet. Maybe this is where I can get him interested. When I tried to get him interested here at Dirkies, by Twin Falls, he got to see me go thru right up to my neck. He called me an idiot, can you believe that!

Hey Panfish,

It's been a few years since I have been in that area during the winter. Brother used to work and call Stanley home base. Not only are the roads in perhaps a challenge, but as you probably know, "cold" means really cold there. I used to say "once it gets to -35 outside and add the wind chill factor to go with it, you can't feel much of anything anyway."
