The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission today announced a schedule for the annual winter season closings of two Philadelphia public boating and fishing access areas.
The Tacony Access will be closed beginning December 14. The site is located just north of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge on Milnor and Princeton Avenue.
The Frankford Arsenal Access will close December 21. The larger of the two sites, the access is located on Tacony Street.
Together the two state-owned sites provide free public access for recreational boating and fishing on the Lower Delaware River. For other regional fishing and boating accesses and destinations, visit the "County Guides" section of the Commission's website.
