Ice conditions?

Does anyone have a reliable method for finding current ice conditions? I am interested in fishing Magic Reservoir but cant drive 2.5 hours to see how the ice is. A buddy and I fished Magic last year and really had some fun. I would think with the temps this week that the ice should be forming soon. Thanks for the help.

Thanks idahopanfish, that is exactly what I needed. Do you fish Magic much? We fished the east side twice last year and limited on trout both times. Really tasty from the cold water too!

I mainly ice fish there for perch but am going to be after some of the browns there next year.
