mistic river,mumford cove,ocean beach

well,we made the collage try to get to rhode island today,weather didnt let us get there though.we had a small craft advisory out with 25 mph.windes and 3-5 ft waveswe made it to the mouth of the mistic river,we tucked in and made a few drifts,landed 2 short fluke and 2 skates.after getting bounced aroud we decieded to start heading back towards home stopping at a few places on the way

we stopped a mumford cove,made one long drift,not one bite.then to ocean beach.made 2 drifts and again not one bite.so before we went home we pulled our lobster traps.and guess what,nothing but spider crabs,and one hermit crab.

the pics didnt come out too well as you can see,i was standing and tring to keep my balance.i should have sat down.unknown what next week will bring,tonites weather said that we will get the tropical storm thats in cuba,by the middle of the week.more rain god help us

Glad to see we'er both nuts to go out in that. Nothing big for me eather, but it beat sitting home. []

It was looking like I was going to get a day of fissing in this week till last night, My muffler decided it did not want to come home with me and jumped out of my vehicle on to the road, Sorry for the person behind me, they had to dodge the dodge muffler, scared them pretty good. I bearly felt it, a slight hump and I was looking for to see what I hit. I thought I ran over something untill I saw people swerving behind me... LOL, Not funny....

funny part is that muffler had a life time warenty. It rusted out from the inside....

needless to say I will be spending fryday under my truck insted of on the water... I have to leave the week end fishing to the week end warrors...
