I'm glad they didn't get away with it. Now, out of curiosity, isn't the law that anyone with a felony cannot own a firearm or other deadly weapon? Or is it only for violent felonies? If it is the former, then these scum will not be able to hunt or even own a firearm ever again.

If I'm not mistaken, any felon (regardless of the crimes nature) is prohibited from own or using a firearm. However, that hasn't kept them (felons) from applying and getting big game general season licenses. Several news stories about this last year here in Utah. Fix this problem and the rest of us would have a slightly better chance of drawing a premium tag.

I'am glad that they were caught are charged also.I hate poachers,but remember they have only been charged not convicted of any crime yet.If they happen to draw a liberal judge to hear the case it might be possible they would only get a slap on the wrist.I hope the judge is a hard a$$ and throws the book at them.

Its very interesting. I know people that have caught a extra fish or two, Shot an extra grouse or two, An extra rabbit, Or something, These folks lived on what I make in 4 months all year and raised a family! they did not have anything! However would give you the shirt off their back. They ate everything they caught and shot. They could not afford to buy meat in the store. They waisted nothing!

I can deal with someone doing that to survive. However, The spineless, No spurrin, no shootin worthless peices of Crap that shoot them and leave them lying and laughed or whatever they did are cowards! They are not sportsman,

Don't misunderstand, I am not condoning poaching. Just my two cents worth!
