It sure would be nice to get my feet wet back in the old "hood", you luckey dog [cool] .
Will you be in the trenton channel or up by the steel and chemical plants ?
Make sure you take the G.P.S. if you head out on the lake , twavel that mud line in the water and you'll have your limit in no time at all .
I have an old friend that just moved up a couple blocks away from me , He's working at the same plant I am . He's wanting to go fishing too .
Pretty cool .

made it out to the river monday for a couple hours any way,

we got out about two am and we planned on fishing till sun rise. a bout of rain set in and cut us short, causing us to get in a bit early. none of us felt much like sticking it out in the rain, and one of the guys had to go home and make the potato salid. So I actualy got home before sunrise.... took a nap till noon...

between the four of us we managed to pull in a several keepers 18-24 inchers "walleye" Must have been a good day for them there were several other boats coming in with us, they had been out there since about nine or ten the night before. Two of the boats that moored along side of us had limits of walleyes ranging about the same size.

sorry no pictures, my camera is on the blink for the moment.

I was using Little Anthony's, set up with spinner rigs. I caught one keeper and threw back four shorts.

No Sheephead, Zebra mussles are still doing well, along with the goby.

I did manage to get out a couple days earlier and caught a limit of gills a rock bass and a perch using a JB 50.

I took a Dino picture of them, It will be a week or so before I know if they turn out. still a foot of film left. and I cant remember how old the film is....

No eyes for me , yet [Wink]!
I have to take the camera out with me the next trip , I haven't put a good ol' bluegill or crappie on , maybe a bullhead too .

One of the guys gave me this recipe for bass .
Get some Drakes Batter mix , substitute the water with your favorite beer , dip your strips in the batter mix and then roll in crushed cornflakes , fry them up in the fish fry pan .
